I felt I should follow Mindy's "heavy" post by noting that after the grim discussion with the neurologist, the four of us headed over to the Irvine Spectrum and had a great time! :)

We had lunch together, ice cream for dessert, and Mindy and Jackson rode the ferris wheel. Sam seemed to like the yellow canaries in the pet store.

Not sure what my point is. Maybe I just wanted you all to know that while Sam's condition is always on our minds, we're not sitting around dwelling on it. We're trying our best to do "normal" family stuff whenever we can, and I'm hoping that it will get easier as time goes by.
